Distress Personal Identification Numbers that covertly trigger a cash-point security response to protect the interests of customers and improve their safety by disincentivising a criminal to rob.
I have heard of something like that with fingerprint technology. You can dominate a distress fingerprint (different one from the normal) that appears normal but triggers an alarm to security and prevent that sort of crime.
I wonder also will people actually remember their distress PINs under such stressful situation.
